cafe anomaly

words

I went to meet my family for lunch today & something very unexpected happened.

“May I take your order?”
- “Can’t you see we just sat down!?”
[This wasn't it]

“Here, speak to granny”
- “I wish I was dead.”
[This wasn't it either]

[[Crying]]
yes yes this was it.

My mu sent me & James a chain email with loads of pictures of holocaust victims & the subject ‘In memorium’ Im it it said that the teaching of the holocaust In UK secondary schools had been banned as it offended muslims who deny the holocaust which of course is BOOWSHEET. DO your parents ever send you powerpoint presentations with racist undertones depicting dead jews?

I haven’t gotten that email yet, but my mom was sending me loads of chain emails which ranged from cute animals and religious cheerleading to children dying of diseases. I had to ban her from sending me anything that had fwd in the subject line.

Don’t get racist emails from my folks but my dad’s typed a whole email into the subject field before. Also, my grandma said “this will probably be the last time you see me” for years before her death. I soon came to hope she would be right.
