Where in Canada are you planning to visit? Any interest in the Canadian arctic? I’m a teacher up in Inuvik, a town north of the arctic circle, and we get 24-hour daylight in the summer! It’s something to experience, that’s for sure!

Aw shit really? That’s basically what my idea is. I live next to an area called Stamford hill and it’s extremely Hasedic Jew - there’s just loads of them! I thought it just popped into my mind then.
Id absolutely love to visit the Canadian arctic - will be much later on in my trip though when i travel up the west coast.
You brits are great… take (more than) three months off just to travel around and see stuff. Must be nice. I don’t think I’ve take 3 months off — TOTAL — since I graduated high school.
In the U.S. we get two weeks off a year — and most of us don’t even take that.
(not trying to be snarky, I’m just saying is all…)
We usually get 20-25 days off. I am leaving my job by the way - am going to try and do some freelance work while I am in the US.
I would like to register my disapproval of this event. I am a member of Racists Against Rock. Given that Rock Music is derivative of Blues, it is clearly unacceptable to all right-thinking white supremacists!

Come on by Southern California and relax, have a fish taco. To the fella above who complained about people in the US not taking their full two weeks, my answer to that is that those people are just big idiots. I take my full 4 weeks of vacation every year, including a full two week vacation abroad. Anyone at work that tries to make me feel guilty can kiss it.
