I really wanted to tell my friend the other day that his TV looked shit, but I couldn’t, he is so in love with it. It’s good for him and he likes it so why do I even care. Here’s to illusion! Is your dad putting an X on the door because your mother is in a state of rage?

mko, this is from the wikipedia entry on Passover: “The term “passover” refers to God’s sparing of the Hebrew firstborn as he saw the blood of the Passover lamb on the doorposts of their houses on the night of the Tenth Plague.”

I think the red cross on the door is a Jewey ritual and indicates that the woman of the house is currently on the blob.

ya, it’s in that movie where charleton heston frees the jews in egypt. i think he did it in, what, 1955 or something??

it is a great strip! I especially like how your mum can go from sweetness to sharp-toothed anger in a split second! hilarious!

and DAMN! that is one big feline! (are they kosher, by the way?)

    thanks!

I think I like this semi-abstract style a bit more than the strips where you explain everything. Both are funny though, so keep it up!

Is that really a photo of your parent’s cat? If so, he is the spit of my old one. It gave me a bit of a fright!

The goats blood on the door is indeed referring to the ancient story of passover - however that is a funny thought that it would be because my mother is so angry!

R: found that cat off google images for black and white cat - maybe it is yours that would be a weird coincidence. Bit like my parents cat.

is Anonymous your mom? If it makes her feel any better, I think she (or rather the character you make her out to be) is sweet and funny, and i thought this strip with the kiss and youre fat comment was a tender moment, but maybe i am just a sentimentalist.

    hehe

ahhhh….the attempt to define reality through the power of aggression…
I wonder what would happen if your mum met mine — I suspect that the objective world might just implode — kinda like matter meeting antimatter.
