Why do you need "palettes" to draw in color? Can't you just choose some colors? For that matter, why are the Mauritius drawings in grayscale?

I'm an RSS subscriber to your blog, and I read every post the moment it comes out, unlike a lot of the feeds I subscribe to. I wish there were more blogs like yours that published so often and yet were worth reading. It's always original material, and it adds a bit of color to my day. (Unless it's not in color! :)

I need palettes because I am not very gifted with colours and I nicked all the ones I do use from colourlovers.com - and I don't really want to pick out a whole new bunch of colours just from scratch every blog it's enough work as it is! The Mauritius ones were in greyscale initially cause I don't have my palettes on my laptop, then i thought it would be a neat way to distinguish holiday posts.

I tried phidias and that's worse.
