Hey, see it like this: you’re particular brand of biting wit is probably too sophisticated for the average plebeian. Don’t feel too bad, I can assure you you’ve gained at least one fan (who intends to stay subscribed) from that Boing Boing post.

(me, in case that wasn’t obvious…)

Remember that a large number of people (including me) are probably now reading your blog through your RSS feed in Google Reader or Bloglines. That means they don’t actually visit your site any more, but they’re still reading what you’re writing.

Somebody smarter than me can probably tell you how to count the number of people reading your site through RSS.

You know I never even thought of the whole RSS thing - s-weet, I can probably find out that stats thing. Surprised google analytics doesn’t already do it. Oh man I was going to go for a walk today - it’s already getting dark HELP!

It has to be “text” to be read in RSS. I think you got a lot of traffic from that french girl you bitched about. People come, see just an other teenager, are bored, and then, just don’t come back.

    Sorry

    Adios

it doesn’t have to be text to be in an rss feed; that is how i’m reading it.

If it’s any consolation this blog is now added to the others I check daily, so don’t stop.

I read your blog in Google Reader via RSS, and it looks fine. Don’t believe the haters.

    Thanks for the entertainment.

For what it’s worth… I started reading after seeing the the boingboing post. Unfortunately, I do most of my blog reading through Bloglines and the rss feed from “local girl” (blogger) just doesn’t work so well.

And that’s why I may stop visiting; in spite of your excellent posts.

I came through Boing Boing, and I’m still here, too. Still quite amused. Thanks.

I came here through Boing Boing, but I am here to stay. I subbed through Bloglines and sometimes your pictures show and sometimes they don’t. I will probably have to click through to your site for most posts.

I will also be recommending your blog to others.

PS-I read the blog about the French girl, but won’t give her the traffic to check it out.

I rarely ever look into other blogs (hardly anyone looks into mine :) and wouldn’t have heard of yours, or a few other favorites, if it hadn’t been for ‘blogs of note’.

Now I look forward to reading your posts everyday and have told friends about it. Love your style!

I think LG is going to be huge one day. :)

We all are deeply saddened here in Brooklyn by the news of Local Girl’s tumultuous fall from fame. So the executive committee at Rat Sass has decided to award you the coveted
    Walk of Fame Star!

Rat Sass Walk of Fame Stars are real duplicates of the replicas made by the same artist who creates the Hollywood plaques given to the celebrities when they receive a star on the sidewalk!

The Rat Sass Walk of Fame star follows the lead of Muhammad Ali’s star, which is displayed on a wall of the Kodak Theatre, not on the sidewalk, due to Muhammad’s request that he not be walked on. Every member of the executive committee will wheatpaste a Local Girl star onto the theater’s wall every time one them visits Sunset and Vine in Hollywood.

I draw in my blog too. :) I just use pen and ink and a scanner then use software to shrink the file to size as a web graphic.

I’m still coming by as a result of the boingboing link.

Perhaps you need a media stunt such as blogging without your underwear on or shaving your head and beating a car with your umbrella.
